MUSC 1041 - Jazz Band I

Jazz Band affords opportunities to all qualified students who are interested in jazz, popular, and “Big Band” music. This is a select ensemble and admission is gained by audition or invitation of the Bandmaster. High School Jazz Band participation is highly recommended. Upon completion of this course, students will demonstrate a knowledge base for music; demonstrate proficiency through instrumental performance; and recognize how music can be used to express ideas and feelings.
