MATH 1614 - Calculus I


Presents materials in the first of a three semester sequence designed for students majoring in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or the physical sciences. The sequence approaches the topics in a graphical and numerical interpretation as well as the standard symbolic method. Topics covered include a review of basic algebraic functions, exponential functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, and function inverses, then limits, the derivative, analysis using the derivative and applications of the derivative.
