ENR 013 - Principles of Engineering 0.50 High School Credits The course introduces a study of the application of different types of engineering majors to real world problems/situations. It’s designed as high school level course for students interesting in engineering, design and associated professions. This course provides a powerful fundamental foundation of engineering skills that students needed to succeed academically and prepare them professionally to face the challenges related to any activities in engineering field. The major focus of ENR 013 is Project-Oriented, a hands-on learning process where the learners are involved 100% in kinds of projects that usually will lead to products. However, the main goal of the process is the learning effect not the products itself. Basically, the Project-Oriented is an opportunity for students to apply mathematic and scientific principles to solve practical engineering problems, to be involved in laboratory work, to design process, research and analysis, practice written and verbal communication skills, acquire teamwork and computational skills. During this course, students will demonstrate curiosity, creativity, flexibility and adaptability to change from one engineering filed to another.
