MTH 062 - Calculus B

.50 High School Credits
Covers definite and indefinite integrals using symbolic, tabular, graphical and verbal notations. Definite integrals are introduced using Riemann sums and the trapezoidal rule. Integrals resulting in algebraic, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and inverse trigonometric functions are mastered, including the use of substitution. Considers applications of integration including area, volume, average function value, and accumulation. Focus is given to the First and Second Fundamental Theorems of Calculus. Differential equations and slope fields are introduced.

Prerequisite(s): MTH 061 (Minimum grade: D)
