MTH 044 - Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry and Geometry B

.50 High School Credits
Extensive study of functions, especially their graphs, is covered.  Heavy emphasis is given to all phases of trigonometry, including trigonometry equations, trigonometry identities, polar coordinates, and graphs of sinusoids.  Other concepts covered include matrices, determinants, arithmetic series, geometric series, and conic sections. The use of a graphing calculator is highlighted.

Prerequisite(s): MTH 043 (Minimum grade: D).
