MTH 006 - Math Basic Skills

Students will enter this course basic on their math placement score and/or first day assessment test. This course will focus on the four basic operations of arithmetic with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. As time permits, simple word problems, signed numbers, and beginning algebraic concepts will be introduced after successful completion and mastering of the four basic operations of arithmetic. Minimum passing score from this course is 70% and failure will mandate a retake.
