ENGL 1033 - Writing Workshop

Develops skills in grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and composition in a workshop atmosphere.  Required for students who need to strengthen basics before enrolling in Freshman Composition as determined by COMPASS scores from 40 - 69. 



Credit Hours 3.0
Note
Students must earn a “C” in this course to move on, or they will repeat the course.
Prerequisite
Minimum grade of C in ENGL 0993 or ACT minimum score (English) of 17 or SAT critical reading score of 340.  (SATR scores of 340-490, ACT scores of 17 or less  take compass placement for evaluation and placement.)
