This course is a prerequisite for all higher level English courses.
Prerequisite
ACT English score of 18 or SATR Critical Reading of 490 minimum or successful completion of ENGL 1033. Placement for those scoring 17 or less on the ACT or 490 or less on the SATR critical reading score will be determined by a COMPASS test. The minimum COMPASS score is 70.
